Tay Shores Public School Important Information
Class Placements
We are beginning to plan for next year’s student placements. We hope you are aware that a great deal of time and effort is spent on organizing class placements for the following school year. There are many variables that are considered in this process. Any request should focus on your child’s strengths and needs, and not on specific teachers. Teachers will also have input into the class placements and they consider the social, emotional, and learning needs of students when making their recommendations. Your request will be considered, but we cannot promise that such requests will be granted. Any requests that are made for “sound educational reasons” will be considered, although the final decision on placement rests with the Principal. Please put your request and reasons in writing and email them to Mr. Nie or Mrs. Morphet at [email protected] or [email protected] by Friday, May 15th.
